Where to Begin
Welcome to the subject guide aimed at helping you find information about Classics research!
There are a number of tabs at the top of the page that will aid you in finding information that can assist with your research.
Guide to tabs:
"Find Articles" - Subject-specific and general databases to use to search for articles.
"Find Books" - Link to online catalog search and selected list of reference books.
"General Resources" - Quality website resources
"General Citation Help" - information about when to cite and how to prepare citations in different styles
Still Need Help?
If you still can't find what you are looking for, or need help getting started, then ask a librarian!
If you stop by the Library between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM Monday through Thursday, or 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM on Fridays there are Librarians available to help you with your research.
If you can't stop by the library you can use our electronic Ask a Librarian site. We try to answer these questions in 24 hours Monday-Friday. It may take longer if you submit your request on Saturday or Sunday.
You can also make an individual reference appointment and we will work one on one with you. You can make this appointment either by stopping by the Reference Desk, calling, or by submitting a request through our Ask a Librarian service.
