Where to Begin
Welcome to the subject guide created to help you find research for your FYS class - "Russia Yesterday and Today"
There are a number of tabs that will aid you in finding more information.
Guide to tabs:
"Find Books" - Search the online catalog and see selected list of reference books.
"Find Articles" - Recommended subject-specific and general databases to use to search for articles.
"General Resources" - A sample of quality website resources
"Citation Help" - Information about when to cite and how to prepare citations in different styles. See the sub-page on MLA!
Still Need Help?
If you still can't find what you are looking for, or need help getting started, then ask a librarian!
If you stop by the Library between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM Monday through Thursday, or 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM on Fridays there are Librarians available to help you with your research.
If you can't stop by the library you can use our electronic Ask a Librarian
form. We try to answer these questions in 24 hours Monday-Friday. It
may take longer if you submit your request on Saturday or Sunday. You can also make an
individual reference appointment and we will work one on one with you.
