Still Need Help?
If you still can't find what you're looking for or need help getting started, ask a librarian!
Someone will be at the reference desk on the ground floor of Hoover Library to help you with your research from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Fridays, and 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Sundays.
If you can't make it to the library, use our online Ask a Librarian form! You will receive an answer by the following business day.
You can also make an appointment to work one-on-one with a librarian by stopping by the Reference Desk in person, calling us on the phone (at 410-857-2281), or submitting a request online using our Ask a Librarian service.
Where To Begin
Welcome to the Deaf Education subject guide!
There are a number of tabs at the top of the page that will help you with your research.
A good way to begin is by searching the library catalog for books, CDs, and DVD's. You can also browse the shelves.
You can find the books you are looking for by locating the tag on the end of each book shelf that indicates the number range of the books on that shelf:

Another great way to start is by searching for journal articles. The Find Articles tab at the top of this guide will direct you towards a few resources that are especially useful for doing research in Deaf Education.
As always, if you need help, just ask a librarian!
