Still Need Help?
If you still can't find what you are looking for, or need help getting started, then ask a librarian!
If you stop by the Library between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM on Fridays, or 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM on Sundays there are Librarians available to help you with your research.
If you can't stop by the library you can use our electronic Ask a Librarian
form. We try to answer these questions in 24 hours Monday-Friday. It
may take longer if you submit your request on Saturday or Sunday.
You can also make an individual reference appointment and we will work one on one with you. You can make this appointment either by stopping by the Reference Desk, calling, or by submitting a request through our Ask a Librarian service.
Where to Begin
Welcome to our new subject guide aimed at helping you find information about Psychology!
There are a number of tabs at the top of the page that will aid you in finding information that can assist with your research.
A good place to begin is by searching the library catalog for books, CDs, and DVD's. You can also browse the shelves.
You can find the books you are looking for by locating the tag on the end of each book shelf that indicates the number range of the books on that shelf. So, if you are looking for books on civil rights, for instance, just find the book shelf that contains books in the 323s.

Another great place to start when looking for information is by searching for articles in our databases. There is a databases tab at the top of the page that will provide a list of databases useful for finding information.
As always, if you are having trouble finding information or you want more guidance, just ask a librarian!
